our mission
We are on a mission to feed our community with conscious curries inspired by our Indian heritage. As part of this mission, La Curry pledges to donate one meal for every order received to those living in an area that has limited access to affordable and nutritious food.
about
La Curry was started by two female South Asian food enthusiasts, Tiffani and Kaysha Patel, who wanted to find a way to help feed the Austin community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tiffani began raising funds from friends and family to make free meals distributed to those in need via the ATX Free Fridge Initiative. She partnered with Kaysha to come up with a longer term solution to feed the community and together they created La Curry.
Our menu presents ingredients sourced with sustainability top of mind and cooked with thoughtful technique. It is vegan-forward because we believe in the power of a plant-based diet. However, we also respect the right of individuals to make food choices that suit their personal needs, so there is something for every lifestyle on our menu.
